The Bank of Japan released a report on the use of generative AI and risk management in financial institutions. The survey found that over 90% of financial institutions are using or testing generative AI, and its applications are expanding from general administrative tasks to core business operations. The report also examined risk management and found that while information management and operational rules are being implemented, there is room for improvement in governance and safety and security measures.
